Here's another stylized portrait of an inspiring artist. This is Aleksi Briclot. He is a french artist that creates awesome illustrations that are very intense and dynamic. I have admired his work for a long time. I met him once in Seattle for the Revelations workshop. His personal artbook is coming out in October. Make sure you get that, you won't be disappointed. Anyways, I hope you like it.

Here's another piece in the series of inspirational artists. This is Kekai Kotaki, he is a concept artist working in video games. He has also done trading cards and book covers. You can find samples of his work at kekai.blogspot.com. I absolutely love his art style and am inspired by it every time I see it. Hope you like it.

This is my take on Koschei, the immortal. I had fun with this one. I've recently started using the freeform pen tool for some sketches. I find it pretty effective and easy to use. It gives the elements a vectory feel. I also used the freeform lasso tool to add some detail to his tunic. Hope you like it.

This is my entry to the September challenge on the Gnomon Workshop forums. If you haven't participated in these challenges I strongly recommend them. I have learned so much participating and thank God I've taken home some DVDs that have helped me grow as an artist.
I hope you like it.

Another piece in this ongoing series of stylized portraits of my favorite artists. This is Adam Hughes. He is an awesome comic book artist that draws the most amazing female illustrations. Check out his work at justsayah.com. Hope you like it.
